Warranty terms and conditions


1. DEFINITIONS

The terms used in these warranty terms and conditions shall have the following meanings:

1.1. Guarantor – Stratos International sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (00-521) at ul. Hoża 29, entered in the 

Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number: 0001150885,

NIP: 7011242704, REGON: 540717671.

1.2. Equipment – audio device distributed by the Guarantor, covered by this warranty.

1.3. User – consumer or entrepreneur who purchased the Equipment for their own use from an authorized

dealer.

1.4. Authorized Service Center – an external entity authorized by the Guarantor to perform diagnostics and warranty

repairs on its behalf.

1.5. Warranty Card – a document issued with the Equipment, confirming the warranty.


2. WARRANTY PERIOD AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE

2.1. The Guarantor ensures the efficient operation of the Equipment, provided that it is used in accordance with

its intended purpose and the operating instructions.

2.2. The standard warranty period is 24 months from the date of sale of the Equipment as shown on the proof

of purchase

2.3. For selected Equipment, the User has the option of extending the warranty period free of charge. This is subject

to the Equipment being registered on the Guarantor's website (www.stratos-int.eu). For the warranty extension to bewww.stratos-int.eu)

effective, the Equipment must be registered within 30 days from the date of the original purchase of the Equipment

from an authorized dealer, as indicated on the proof of purchase. Detailed information on the list of Equipment 

covered by the extended warranty program and its validity periods is available on the Guarantor's

website.

2.4. The territorial coverage of the Warranty may vary depending on the Equipment.

Current and detailed information on the territory covered by the warranty for individual products is available on the

Guarantor's website.


3. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

3.1. The only way to file a warranty claim is to fill out the online claim form. The form is available on the

Guarantor's website (www.stratos-int.eu)

3.2. In the form, the User is required, among other things, to:

3.2.1. provide full details of the Equipment (e.g., model, serial number);

3.2.2. attach a legible scan or photo of the proof of purchase (fiscal receipt, VAT invoice);

3.2.3. accurately and comprehensively describe the defect and the circumstances of its occurrence.

3.3. After receiving the report, the Authorized Service Center will contact the User to confirm receipt of the report

and discuss further steps.

3.4. The User is obliged to securely pack the Equipment for transport in a manner that 

prevents damage. It is recommended to use the original factory packaging with all protective

measures.


4. REPAIR AND LOGISTICS

4.1. Defects and faults in the Equipment revealed during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge by the

Authorized Service Center, after confirmation by the Authorized Service Center that the reported fault is covered by the warranty.

4.2. The repair period is up to 21 business days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Authorized Service

Center.

4.3. If the repair requires the import of spare parts, the repair period shall be automatically extended by the time

necessary to import them.

4.4. The Guarantor shall provide and cover the costs of transporting the Equipment from the User to the Authorized

Service Center and back via a courier company of its choice.

4.5. The Guarantor shall not be liable for damage to the Equipment caused during transport and resulting from its

improper packaging and securing by the User.


5. USER'S RIGHTS

5.1. The basic warranty service is the repair of the Equipment.

5.2. The User shall be entitled to replace the Equipment with new, defect-free Equipment only if:

5.2.1. An Authorized Service Center states in writing that it is technically impossible to remove the defect;

5.2.2. during the warranty period, three repairs of the same significant defect have been made, and the Equipment

still exhibits a defect that prevents its normal use.

5.3. If it is impossible to replace the Equipment with an identical model (e.g., due to discontinuation of production),

the Guarantor shall offer the User a replacement with another model with technical parameters

that are not inferior (for a possible additional payment by the Guarantor or the User) or a refund of the amount paid by

the User for the Equipment.


6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The warranty does not cover:

6.1. mechanical, thermal, chemical damage, as well as damage caused by liquid spillage

or power surge;

6.2. damage resulting from random events and force majeure

(e.g. fire, flood, lightning)

6.3. damage resulting from the use, storage or maintenance of the Equipment in a manner inconsistent

with the user manual;

6.4. activities specified in the user manual, which the User is obliged to perform on their own, such as

installation, configuration or cleaning;

6.5. components and parts subject to natural wear and tear, such as: fuses, batteries, drive belts, turntable needles,

lasers in CD players, potentiometers, switches;

6.6. damage to speakers (burned coils) resulting from signal overload, amplifier oscillation or the application of direct

current to the input;

6.7. Equipment in which the warranty seals have been broken or in which unauthorized repairs, modifications 

or structural changes have been made;

6.8. claims regarding the technical parameters of the Equipment, provided that these parameters comply with the

specifications provided by the manufacturer;

6.9. costs of technical expertise in the event that the reported fault is not confirmed by an Authorized Service Centre

or if the Equipment is not eligible for warranty repair for any other reason.


7. FINAL PROVISIONS

7.1. These warranty terms and conditions do not exclude, limit or suspend the User's rights under generally

applicable law, including, where applicable, Polish regulations on non-compliance of goods

with the contract.

7.2. The Guarantor is the administrator of the User's personal data. Personal data will be processed for the purpose

of fulfilling the obligations arising from these warranty terms and conditions, including for the purpose of extending

the warranty on the terms described above.

7.3. In matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the relevant provisions of generally applicable

law shall apply.

7.4. The current content of the warranty terms and conditions is always available on the Guarantor's website.

7.5. The warranty terms and conditions with the above content are valid from 1 May 2025.
