Inakustik is a renowned German company specialising in the production of high-end audio and video cables, electronic components, and music distribution. Since 1977, its mission has been to deliver pure, natural sound – without loss, without compromise. The company is based in Ballrechten-Dottingen, in the picturesque region of Markgräflerland, near Freiburg im Breisgau.

More than just cables
Although Inakustik is primarily known for its speaker cables, interconnects, and HDMI cables, its activities encompass much more:
- Production of electronic components (e.g. amplifiers, signal filters),
- Its own music label and distribution of CDs, LPs, and Blu-rays,
- Distribution of brands such as Primare, Audiovector, Koss, Stoic, AmbienTech,
- Installation solutions for AV systems and home cinema

The Inakustik team consists of over 40 people, many of whom have worked for the company for several, or even several dozen years. It is their experience, commitment, and love for music that make Inakustik products so highly valued worldwide. The company focuses on long-term relationships, both with employees and business partners.
High-quality materials
The structure, shielding, and materials used have a decisive impact on the quality of cables. In addition to the cable architecture, the company places particular emphasis on high-quality materials. For the production of its copper cables, it uses the purest, best-conducting copper. The copper wire, which is cast to a thickness of about 10 millimetres and wound onto spools, is tested for purity in rigorous quality tests. The copper wire is then drawn to the required diameter in several stages at a German wire drawing plant and further processed in a German cable factory. The cable is then finished and assembled at the Inakustik factory. For the production of reference AIR cables, the company uses only selected high-purity oxygen-free copper.
