Our new X-A220EVO monophonic power amplifier delivers 220 W (at 8 Ω).

A pair of X-A220EVO units combined with the X-P700 preamplifier creates an exceptionally musical Hi-Fi system.

Design

The steel chassis is impeccably finished. The addition of methacrylate front panels enhances both aesthetics and ergonomics, highlighted by a prominent VU meter.

The internal layout is optimized and divided into functional sections. The careful placement of components is complemented by the use of high-quality parts mounted on separate PCBs, each dedicated to a specific function of the circuit and audio path.

The height of the X-A220EVO results from the size of its large and efficient heat sink, ensuring proper cooling of the power transistors.

The X-A220EVO features a 700 VA toroidal transformer.

After rectification, four 10,000 µF / 80 V capacitors smooth the DC voltage.

The power stage employs a triple set of complementary NJW0281G / NJW0302G transistors operating in a push-pull configuration, delivering up to 220 W (8 Ω) in Class AB.
