CYRUS 40 AMP amplifier with DAC

Whether you are a fan of digital or analogue music, the 40 AMP amplifier is designed to be at the centre of your home audio system and provide the perfect partner for your speakers regardless of your preferred playback source. Delivering the highest level of performance expected by today's music fans, this integrated amplifier has the ability to drive even the most demanding speaker systems. With 100 watts per channel into 6 ohms and a high efficiency power supply, the 40 AMP is capable of recreating the scale and drama of a musical performance in your own home. It is noteworthy that in an era of popular amplifiers operating in Class D, Cyrus Audio has constructed an amplifier based on classic Class AB technology.


Digital performance:

Customised DAC design is at the forefront of all Cyrus digital products, and the 40 AMP embodies this approach like never before. Based on the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, the 40 AMP supports audio files of up to 32-bit resolution, PCM 768 kHz and DSD1024. Every component has been analysed by our engineering team, and the board layout has been fully optimised for DAC tuning so that we can achieve the highest possible quality-to-value ratio.


MM phono stage:
As well as multiple digital and analogue connections, the 40 AMP has a low noise MM phono stage which inherits many of its design features from the award-winning Classic PHONO. This phono stage performs at a level way above its class, featuring low background noise and high dynamic range, providing the perfect complement for any quality vinyl turntable source.

Power amplifier:

The 40 AMP wide-band power amplifier amplifies the signal from DC to over 100 kHz, ensuring flat frequency response and keeping any unwanted phase shift out of the audio band. With a large, above-standard power supply, the 40 AMP power amplifier is able to recreate the scale and drama of a musical performance in your home.


40 PSU upgrade

Even when the 40 AMP is packaged with our latest custom designed switch mode power supply, improvements are always possible. To further enhance the experience and provide the 40 AMP with the best configuration of power, you can easily connect the 40 PSU external power supply to the 40 AMP with a single cable. Providing multiple supplies, all of the output voltages from the 40 PSU are digitally controlled internally, so are extremely stable and virtually noise free.
