We are proud to present Townus, a series designed to appeal to anyone who values timeless design and high quality. In reference to the roots and location of our company headquarters in the middle of the Taunus region of Hesse, we have created the eponymous name Townus for our new speaker models. The newly created Townus series impresses with its timeless, elegant design and high-quality materials – ideal for urbanites who value design and quality. The word Townus also refers to the connection between modern, vibrant city life and the quieter, rural Taunus region, where the creators of this timeless yet modern speaker series have their roots.
Perfect design
Our Townus 30 2-way compact loudspeakers impress with their understatedly elegant design and sophisticated surfaces with timeless elegance. Harmonious proportions, rounded edges and the screwless integration of the drivers into the slim baffle make our Townus 30 a gem in any living environment. The rounded edges of the cabinet not only give the Townus 30 an elegant look – they also improve the sound dispersion of the speakers. Flawless surfaces in silk matt or high-gloss lacquers and elegant real wood veneers with a perfect finish underline the premium quality of the new Townus speaker series. Further visual highlights include the high-quality aluminium rings of the speaker chassis, which are manufactured using the seamless diamond cut process, and the fabric grilles with rounded corners, which adhere magnetically to the baffles.
The Townus 30 – perfectly equipped
The Townus 30 bass reflex compact speakers are characterised by their timeless, elegant design and excellent sound properties. Despite their small dimensions, these attractive 2-way bass reflex speakers deliver powerful, deep bass and stunning dynamics. The balanced tuning, their homogeneity and the full frequency range make the compact Townus 30 a universal loudspeaker for all types of music. In the bass reflex compact loudspeaker, high-quality technical components ensure the renowned Canton sound and extremely high reliability. Two speaker drivers, a 174 mm low-midrange driver with a titanium diaphragm and a 25 mm aluminium oxide ceramic dome tweeter, are responsible for music reproduction in the attractive Townus 30. Thanks to wave surround technology and our patented DC technology, the Townus 30 delivers controlled performance at all times. Last but not least, the precisely calculated waveguide of the tweeter optimises the sound radiation and coupling of the 2-way loudspeaker, which performs confidently up to 40,000 hertz.

The compact Townus 30 can be combined with other models from the Townus series to create a powerful multi-channel home cinema system. Our flagship Townus 90 speakers serve as the main speakers, which you can combine with the perfectly matching Townus 50 centre speaker and the Townus 30 2-way compact models as surround speakers. The Townus Sub 12 subwoofer is added for depth and punch in the bass as well as an increase in overall dynamics. Here, the high power amplifier output and the 300 mm titanium subwoofer chassis ensure impressive performance for films and music. The Smart Amp 5.1 smart electronic module harmonises perfectly with our Townus speaker models, allowing you to dive into the wireless world of music streaming.
